About Platinum Auto Wash On Park
State of the Art Touch-less Automatic carwash system and self wash options. Vacuum and vending available.
Platinum Auto Wash On Park is a car wash in Columbus, Ohio. It is listed at 217 Park Rd, Columbus, OH 43235, which places it among the local businesses of Columbus that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Columbus, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Ohio, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
With 3.5 out of 5 on Google from 171 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for car washes in Columbus. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Columbus follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Use to be a good car wash recently not so much. Last 2 times I have been there no foam/suds in the foam brush. A few months ago huge mud chucks in multiple bays. Yesterday had to pay $7 and then go elsewhere to pay more to finish my tires since foam brush did not work.

As an owner of a luxury car I will never go into a car wash that is not touchless. These guys could literally run the table in this area. However, went into the bay on the far left and clearly the unit is run down. It had a pool noodle on it. It barely sprayed that well and didn't get my car that clean especially on the right hand side. I feel like I would have better off setting $12 on fire. Do better!!

Was a lot better before they "upgraded" the touchless equipment. Feels like it doesn't spray hard enough anymore. The prices also shot up. This used to be my favorite place to get a car wash but the past couple times have been a let down.

After that winter storm hit us, my car looked horrible. I was so happy to find a car wash that was clean, in good order, and close by my job. I've been to a lot of car washes and seen some that are just trash. Things don't work, they don't keep it clean, it's just not the vibe I want when I'm cleaning my car. I went here one time and I'm sold. Highly recommended car wash in the area

04/12/2025 - Dryer is okay. Does not really dry well the rear of the vehicle. Decent prices. Nice auto wash space is painted to complement its service. No issues for me with the card machine. The card machine will hold a 10.00 charge but will post to the service you pay for. I have only seen one worker there assisting guests and their vehicles into the automatic washes. He did not greet me. Good luck with your experience. 03/09/2025 - First time visiting Platinum Auto Wash and I was impressed with their cleaning equipment. You have the option of manual wash or automatic wash. I prefer the automatic power wash (hydro spray)and that no object is touching your vehicle (brushless). If using the automatic wash, must fold mirrors. I selected the Economy option. Nice settings within the automatic wash from pre-soaks and to spot free. Washing under carriage is an option. Drying the vehicle is ok.
